The all new Athletic Republic Sports Training Center is operated in the granite state by New Hampshire Sports Training, LLC which is owned by two of the top sport training and sports rehab professionals in the country.  Partners Lisa Charest, and Stuart Kremzner all have a passion for taking athletes to the next level and beyond.  No matter what your sport or ability level there is a program here that is right for you.

[Stuart Kremzner-MS, CSCS]

Has been coaching/training athletes for 20 years and trained over 300 elite and professional athletes.  He attended University of New Hampshire as an undergraduate then University of Montana for his masters in exercise physiology.  When at UM he focused on physiology of endurance exercise, applied sport training and speed/power training.  Professionally Stuart directed and started up several of the Nation's premier sports training and sports medicine facilities in Utah and Illinois.  During his tenure there he trained elite Olympic, professional, college, junior and master athletes.  In addition he was on the faculty at Weber State University where he taught exercise science.
Stuart worked closely with the WSU coaches developing training programs for the WSU Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Field teams. The  WSU Mens and Womens Basketball teams qualified for the the  2003 NCAA Championships(Women for 2004 as well).  Stuart's Certifications include: NSCA CSCS, Aquatic Physical Therapy Certified, Frappier Acceleration Bridge Rehabilitation Certification, Frappier Acceleration Director Certification, USSF Soccer D License, NENSA Level II Coach. Some of  the top athletes Stuart has trained are: Ogonna Nnamani, Jermaine Boyette, Charles Klinger, Emmett White, Eric Johnson, Tom and Ryan Schau. 




[Lisa Charest-P.T., I.M.T.C.]
Owner/Founder of Summit Health NH LLC.  Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from University of New England, with specialty Certification in Integrative Manual Therapy™.  Lisa has 19 years experience with sports related injuries and a focus on biomechanics performance.  her Advanced Manual Therapy skills expedite athlete recovery as well as optimize body performance.  She has worked with professional semi-professional, college, high school and youth athletes in all sports.




[Mike Desilets]
Mike is a 1992 graduate of Berlin High School and a 1996 graduate of the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. While at UNE he double majored in Sports and Fitness Management and Business Administration. His main focus was a certificate program in Athletic Training, which presented him with a 1996 internship with the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. Mike's passion for hockey began at a young age growing up in Berlin that took him through 4 years of Varsity Hockey at Berlin High. An ACL injury sidetracked his playing career just before an inaugural season with the Granite State Stars Junior Hockey club. Since college, Mike has spent many years working as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and an Athletic Trainer at various high schools in Maine and New Hampshire, including Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. He is currently a Health Teacher at Pembroke Academy, where he used to coach the Varsity Hockey team as well. Mike has been leading our Athletic Republic hockey program since our opening in July of 2009.




[Troy Maybury]
Troy Maybury is a graduate of South Portland High School in 2006.  During Troy’s senior year he played Junior hockey for the Portland Junior Pirates in Biddeford Maine. After graduation Troy spent a postgraduate year at Bridgton academy in North Bridgton Maine where he played Ice Hockey.  Troy is now a junior at Southern New Hampshire University and is a member of the men’s ice hockey team.  Some of Troy’s Hockey accomplishments include Southern New Hampshire University hockey teams  “Rookie of the year” in 2008.  In 2009 Troy was named the “Northeast 10 conference player of the year” as well as SNHU’s “team MVP” .He was also the teams leading scorer.   This past summer Troy worked as a hockey instructor for The “Kevin Kaminski” hockey academy in Falmouth, Maine.




[Amy  Schwartzkopf, MS, L/ATC]
Amy  Schwartzkopf has an diverse background as an elite soccer player, licensed athletic trainer, and coach.
Amy received a  BS in Sport, Fitness and Leisure with a concentration in Athletic Training, and a minor in biology in 2000. She became a nationally certified athletic trainer in August of 2000.  In 2005 she received her Master’s degree from George Mason University in Exercise, Fitness, and Health Promotion.

Amy's extensive soccer background  began at the age of ten.  As a youth player she played for some of the top soccer programs in the country.  She competed for the Margate Blitz Select team where she won the 1991  W.A.G.S. tournament in Washington, D.C.     At age sixteen Amy traveled to Europe with Team USA for the summer competing in the Stockholm Cup, the Dana Cup, and the Gotenburg Cup where she was named Most Valuable Player.  Amy played soccer at American University in Washington, D.C. where she started as a freshman and was the second leading goal scorer. Then moved to captain Salem State College where she finished her collegiate soccer career. As team captain she was named Coach’s Most Valuable Player.   At the age of 26  she was invited to the combines for professional soccer and trained at a facility with the same philosophies as Athletic Republic. 

Amy  coached club soccer for The Force out of Salem, MA, from 1997 – 2000.  Then from 2000-2003 was the assistant boys varsity soccer coach at Boca Raton Community High School, while also coaching the Boca United Futbol Club with Eric Eichman, a former national team player.  Amy is married and has a 2 year old daughter.
